Alexander Chourreau joins DIGITAL SME

Originally from the surroundings of Paris, Alexander Chourreau arrived in Brussels in September 2022 to pursue his longstanding work interest in European digital policy. After a traineeship at DG CNECT’s Policy Implementation & Planning Unit (European Commission), he joins the DIGITAL SME Team to work on both their Policy and Projects Operations.
Alexander holds a Double Bachelor’s Degree in Politics between Sciences Po Bordeaux (France) and Cardiff University (United-Kingdom), a Master’s in International Relations from Sciences Po Bordeaux and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (United States), as well as a Master’s in European Diplomacy from the College of Europe (Belgium) – where he was rewarded as laureate of the 2021-2022 cohort.
Prior to his time in Brussels, other work experiences include a traineeship at the Fondation l’Intelligence Artificielle pour l’Ecole, a Paris-based organisation dealing with digital skills, and a consultant position at Openvalue, a French AI startup. A French-British dual national, Alexander is bilingual in French and English, and is also comfortable in Spanish.
