DIGITAL SME France launched at ITPartners in Paris

Disneyland (Paris), 13 March 2019 – DIGITAL SME France met an audience of French ICT CEOs at “ITPartners” – the leading fair for digital solutions in France. “La soirée EBEN” was kindly hosted by EBEN – Fédération des Entreprises du Bureau et du Numérique – one of the two founding members of DIGITAL SME France. DIGITAL SME France participated in “ITPartners” to meet with French digital companies and to promote a European approach.

Delphine Cuynet, Director General of EBEN, introduced DIGITAL SME to the EBEN members. “Digital policy is mainly decided at European level. Rules on privacy, e-commerce, European standards for digital solutions are valid throughout the EU. Therefore, DIGITAL SME France offers French digital companies a venue towards Europe.”

“Europe needs a strong digital industry with innovative small and mediums sized companies. In France, our ICT companies bring about state of the art solutions but lack the possibility to scale up at European level. The European DIGITAL SME Alliance brings together 20,000 digital companies from 28 European countries,” said Amandine Laveau-Zimmerle, President of DIGITAL SME France, during the EBEN event.

Further, Amandine Laveau-Zimmerle thanked the two founding members of DIGITAL SME France for their contribution and for the invitation of EBEN President Loïc MIGNOTTE. “The strength of the European economy has always revolved around SMEs – together with our French partners EBEN and ACEDISE, as well as our European partners, we need to promote a thriving digital eco-system that brings about world-leaders in digital.”

Two federations of SMEs active in digital technologies, EBEN and ACEDISE, have jointly created DIGITAL SME France on 18 December in Paris. Next to the President, Christian Coquide, President of ACEDISE, and Delphine Cuynet, Director General of EBEN, form the Administrative Council of DIGITAL SME France in their respective roles as Vice-President and Treasurer.
