Background

This position has been drafted following the publication of the European Commission proposal for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) in September 2022. The goal of the CRA is to create the conditions for the development of secure products with digital elements by ensuring that hardware and software products are placed on the market with fewer vulnerabilities.

It is crucial that digital SMEs express their position on the Commission´s proposal to influence future amendments and the implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act.
