European DIGITAL SME Alliance (DIGITAL SME) has officially joined the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations specialised agency for information and communication technologies, as a sector member.
Through its active involvement with the ITU, DIGITAL SME aims to represent the voices of SMEs in Europe, who are driving innovation in their industries. This contribution helps strengthen the ITU’s balanced representation of diverse perspectives.
Standardisation work within the ITU is led by technical Study Groups (SGs) where ITU-T members collaborate to develop Recommendations (standards) for various areas of international telecommunications. Additionally, Focus Groups are formed to address urgent ICT standardisation needs. These groups are open to organisations outside of ITU membership and operate with flexibility in both deliverables and working methods.
To express your interest in participating in one or more of the study groups and focus groups as a representative of DIGITAL SME, please fill out the form, we will be in touch with further details.
