Demetris is an AI entrepreneur and ecosystem builder with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and a PhD in Computer Vision from the U. of Ioannina. He is the co-founder and Tech Lead of AIandMe, a deep-tech startup that offers a platform to enhance the trustworthiness of GenAI applications, focusing on security and regulatory compliance. A passionate advocate of the AI revolution, Demetris actively supports the growth of Greece’s AI ecosystem. He is a founding member and Chair of the Association of Artificial Intelligence. He also serves on the Steering Committee of the Joint Focus Group AI of the EIT AI Community.
