The Digital SkillUp webinar: Closing the digital skills gap 2: challenges and opportunities for SMEs and start-ups took place on 13 December, 16.00 – 17.30 CET as part of the Digital Skillup webinar series.
The Digital SkillUp webinar Closing the digital skills gap 2: challenges and opportunities for SMEs and start-ups allowed SMEs and startups in the tech sector to share their needs, challenges and success stories in training their staff on emerging technologies and digital skills in general, as well as discussing the core role of tech SMEs in the upskilling and reskilling process for citizens, learners and SME workforce from other sectors.
During the webinar, we also introduced ideas and contents that the DSU initative had been working on to tackle these challenges, including the creation of learning pathways and business cases for SMEs.
This event was organized in collaboration with IMPACT EdTech, The European EdTech Incubator-Accelerator.
Digital SkillUp is an EU-funded initiative with a goal to make basic knowledge on emerging technologies available and accessible to all European citizens and SMEs. As a contribution to the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform’s learning pillar, Digital SkillUp provides easy-to-follow online courses in 10 European languages, helping individuals and companies make the most of emerging technologies and digital transformation.
