Policy Director Annika Linck to discuss Data Sharing Challenges for SMEs at the Data Forum

Annika Linck, DIGITAL SME’s Policy Director, will be joining the Data Forum on 30 March to discuss the challenges that SMEs face when using data to innovate – particularly in regard to finding and using data from across borders and new sources. She will be collecting user stories from DIGITAL SMEs members to highlight the barriers that SMEs can face when attempting to source, verify and integrate new data, as well as any solutions or best practices they may have developed to manage this. If you have any user stories regarding your experience of data sharing, you can submit them here.

The presentation will be part of the Data Forum, which is being hosted by the H2020 project EUHubs4Data at the LAILEC Conference in Leuven, Belgium. The Data Forum is an annual event organized by the EUHubs4Data project, created to raise awareness, share results and recommendations and collect feedback on strategies and policies around data from the European Commission. Annika’s presentation will be part of the second session that focuses on the views of SME’s on data use, and how different ethical and legal aspects of data transfers may impact them.
