Following the recent opening of DIGITAL SME’s new office in San Francisco, the first SME Delegation to Silicon Valley is organised from 18-21 November 2024.

The trip, organised in partnership with EIT Hub Silicon Valley led by EIT Digital, is specifically tailored for European SMEs for them to get a first introduction to the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

Over the four days of the trip, companies can expect exposure to key local stakeholders, and an initiation on how to do business in Silicon Valley. A reception at the European Union’s Liaison Office to Silicon Valley is also foreseen, in order to align with European policymakers and reflect small innovative companies’ views into their policy work with US-based companies.

The trip can serve as a first basis for companies wishing to expand their business to Silicon Valley. An upcoming new US landing program more closely tailored to SME needs will notably be presented during the trip. More information on the current US landing program, and discussions around its future format, can be found in the DIGITAL SME information session of July 15.

Pricing for the trip is 499€ for DIGITAL SME Club Members, 999€ for Members of Members, and 1499€ for non-members. Travel and accommodation fees are under the company’s own costs.

Limited spots are available, and applications will be subject to evaluation. By mid-September, successful applicants will be notified of their approval, and after further communication and agreement charged 20% of the fee in order to book their slot.

A final information session with all participating companies will be organised by end of September, to go over the final agenda and logistical details of the trip.
