Open Call for SMEs and Startups in Collaborative Robotics for Arc Welding-Based Manufacturing

COROB is launching its 2nd Open Call to select and support innovative SMEs and startups developing human-centric collaborative robotics solutions for arc welding-based manufacturing. This initiative aims to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and automation in industrial processes by integrating advanced robotic systems, AI-powered monitoring, and data-driven optimization.

Through this call, COROB will integrate and test cutting-edge solutions within its multi-robotic system, leveraging real-time data processing and AI techniques to optimize welding processes and adjacent manufacturing stages in terms of time, cost, energy, and resource efficiency.

Eligibility

  • The COROB Open Call is open to SMEs and startups established in any EU Member State (including Overseas Countries and Territories) or Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
  • Other companies of any size may participate but will not receive funding.
  • Non-profit organisations are not eligible.

Funding & Opportunities

  • Up to 2 winners will be selected.
  • Each selected entity will receive up to €67,500 under the funding instrument “Solutions to Challenges”.
  • SMEs will be funded at 70% of eligible costs, while startups will be funded at 100%.
  • Participation in a 6-month support programme for integration and validation within COROB’s use cases.
