Call for Project proposals on applied quantum technologies

Within the framework of Eureka’s Network Project has been opened a Call for proposals on applied quantum technologies, with the financial support of 16 participating countries.

The aim of this initiative is to support organisations as they develop quantum technologies that outperform or accelerate existing technologies and contribute to solving problems relevant to industry, science and society.

This call for R&D projects may include topics such as but are not limited to: quantum computing, quantum simulation and stack levels, quantum communications and cyber security, quantum sensing and metrology, etc.

Eligibility criteria

Eureka eligibility criteria is limited to organisations participating in a Network projects consortium:

  • The project must be directed at researching or developing an innovative product, process or service with the goal of commercialisation with a civilian purpose.
  • Your consortium must include at least two independent legal entities from a minimum of two Eureka countries.
  • No single organisation or country can be responsible for more than 70% of the project budget.
  • Projects are expected to start by March 2025 with a maximum duration of 36 months.
  • The recommended project size is to include research partners, large industrial partners and SMEs.

Funding

  • The type of funding is in the form of grants, loans and other financial instruments.
  • The call for project budget depends on the funding details of each country on the list.
  • The budget ranges from 0.44 million EUR to 3 million EUR.
