Call for SME short-term training courses in cybersecurity for the transport, energy and manufacturing sectors

Call for expression of interest for business and/or professional associations owning a DIGITAL SME membership to join a project consortium currently working on the Digital Europe Programme call DIGITAL-2022-TRAINING-02-SHORTCOURSE-Short term training courses in key capacity areas.

DIGITAL SME member associations are invited to join an EU project consortium, developing a proposal for short-term training courses for SMEs in cybersecurity for the transport, energy and manufacturing sectors.

Tasks: the selected associations will function as recipient of the trainings. They are responsible for reaching out to the SMEs of their network, especially the ones active in the transport, energy and manufacturing sectors, thus ensuring the widest impact in terms of SME participation in the training courses in cybersecurity. In addition, the organisations might be requested to engage with SMEs to collect preparatory data for the training modules, ensuring that the design of the short courses is SME-friendly and responds to real needs.

Budget: the full budget available for this call is 25.000.000 euro (up to 3.000.000 per project). Co-funding of 50% is requested by the call specifications. The selected organisation will negotiate its budget directly with the project consortium.

Eligibility: applicants should be business and/or professional organisations supporting SMEs (clusters, DIHs, etc. are welcome) with some knowledge of digital skills development within SMEs.

A strong preference is given to those organisations which can help ensuring consortium’s geographic balance.

Selection: For the APPLICATION, please fill in the form below by 3PM Friday 6th of May. All the submitted applications will be provided to the project coordinator, who will make the final decision in the selection process.
