Open Call for Proposals to build a Trusted Data Space for Skills

The call on Data Space for Skills (Deployment), funded by the Digital Europe Programme, aims to develop and deploy a secure and trusted data for skills. The data space for Skills is a space for sharing and accessing skills data for various purposes such as analytical, statistical or even policy development.

Targeted stakeholders

  • Education institutions and training providers
  • Public-private employment providers
  • Companies and associations

Expected outcomes

  • Technical infrastructure for the deployment of the data space for skills.
  • Data governance documentation, comprising a set of rules of legislative, administrative and contractual nature covering access rights, processing, using and sharing data in a trustful and transparent manner.
  • Setup of the Data Space Governance Authority.
  • Guidance/training documents for the stakeholders willing to join the data space.
  • Update of the Blueprint inherited from the preparatory action DS4Skills to keep it aligned with the most recent version released by the DSSC.
  • A long-term economic sustainability business plan for the skills data space.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Entities established in the EU and countries associated to the Digital Europe Programme.
  • The consortium composition proposals must be submitted by minimum of 4 applicants (beneficiaries; not affiliated entities) from 4 different eligible countries.

Funding

  • Up to EUR 3.000.000 per project.
  • The indicative number of grants is 1.
