[Re]design: where design and manufacturing SMEs meet digital transformation
On 21 April 2018, the National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises (CNA) is going to conclude a week of events dedicated to training, workshops and debates with the [Re]design conference, fully focused on digital transformation in design and manufacture. This event, co-organised by the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, aims to promote training and provide updates in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for CNA companies and in general for all Italian manufacturing companies.
In this context, DIGITAL SME Vice-President for Italy Fabio Massimo will show the opportunities for SMEs and craftsmen in adopting BIM, which will become mandatory in Italy as of 2019 for large works exceeding the value of 100 million €. Furthermore, Guido Sabatini will intervene to talk about BIM interoperability and BIM standardisation at European level.
The event will take place in the framework of Fuorisalone, during the Milan Design Week, the most important design-event worldwide.
