Two new staff members join the DIGITAL SME’s Brussels secretariat

Two new professionals will boost our team. Welcome, Noémi and Giorgos!

Europe’s 25 million European SMEs employ almost 100 million people and are the backbone of our industry and economy. Thus, the European DIGITAL SME Alliance is dedicated to representing the interests of small and medium enterprises in the ICT sector. This month, DIGITAL SME is pleased to add two new staff members to our growing Brussels secretariat! We welcome Giorgos Verdi and Noémi Borsos-Repka.

Giorgos Verdi

Giorgos provides in-depth analysis on key policy issues such as artificial intelligence, data governance and privacy, big tech antitrust, and digital trade. Previously, Giorgos interned for the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cold War History Research Center in Budapest, and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy. He has received scholarships from the Council of Europe and the Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe to travel to Estonia and France and research digital technologies.

Noémi Borsos-Repka

Noémi is Administration and Finance Officer at the organisation. She has extensive financial management experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Before joining the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, Noémi had been the CFO of a similar Budapest-based international NPO. Her work philosophy is that for a successful, sustainable project to be achieved, professional concepts and finances need to be implemented hand in hand, strengthening each other by continuously sharing relevant information.

In addition, we accept applications for trainees who are eligible for ERASMUS+ funding on a rolling basis! If you are passionate about digital-related topics and keen to make a difference, come and join us!
