Our company has implemented a project in Sibiu Municipality in the Center region of Romania. The main objective of the project was to increase the attractiveness and comfort of public transportation mobility by installing intelligent bus shelters. The shelters have in their configuration technologies that supply passengers waiting for public transportation means with real time information by using ”systems of systems” solutions while also having an interactive interface.
The digital solution of this project is responsible for the real-time data gathering part, identifying problems and generating alerts for certain predefined situations. In addition, it contributes to the planning of optimal routes for citizens while also communicating information about the public transportation lines and other information of public interest such as: tourist attractions, socio-cultural/ sporting events, weather forecast and environmental indicators.
