SODIRA Connect is a company specialized in the field of \"Edge Computing\" which uses all the power of its technologies to serve the Internet of Things (IoT) and Content Delivery markets.

The concept of the solution is to leverage public transportation as an inexpensive way of ensuring cheap connectivity for city-wide sensors. It equips a vehicle network (buses, trams, etc.) with Intelligent Gateways which collect data from sensors (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LPWAN as LoRa or 6LowPAN) installed around the city. The data is then pre-processed locally and sent to a Central Service Platform for further processing and visualisation. The Intelligent Gateways can be used as well by transport companies to offer content (videos, music, touristic information) to passengers.
