David joined the European DIGITAL SME Alliance in February 2025 as a member of the communications team.

David brings experience in policy communications and is passionate about supporting startups, scale-ups, and SMEs. He has worked in various capacities, representing innovative SMEs at the EU level, focussing on creating a favourable regulatory environment to help ease the operational landscape for European innovative businesses. He holds a bachelor’s degree in European Studies and a master’s degree in Transatlantic Relations.

A native Dutch speaker, David is fluent in English and has a good command of German.
