Launch event and matchmaking session – SmarTomorrow: Fostering Collaboration within Smart Communities
By facilitating data exchange and promoting innovative solutions, AURORAL seeks to bridge the digital divide and ensure inclusive growth across Europe’s rural regions. Within AURORAL Project, SmarTomorrow has been set up as a Community of Practice with a dedicated platform to ensure sustainability and foster cooperation for digital solutions in rural Europe, enabling information exchange, collaboration, and access to funding opportunities.
This event officially launched SmarTomorrow and served as a platform to engage with a wide audience, introduced best practices from the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network, encouraged collaboration between digital doers from the private and public sector through matchmaking sessions, and provided valuable insights into future collaboration opportunities.
The objectives of this session were:
- Introducing SmarTomorrow Community of Practice (CoP) and the platform.
- Encouraging collaboration between SmarTomorrow members, EDIH representatives, local authorities and SMEs.
- Engaging key stakeholders, including representatives from the European Commissions and relevant EU initiatives.
