Eligibility
Companies meeting the following criteria can be considered for the label. The label is based on self-declaration and does not require a technical audit.
Location
The company is a legal entity headquartered in Europe.
Ownership
The company provides reasonable assurance that there is no major ownership or control from outside Europe.
Operations
The company demonstrates that more than 50% of its R&D activities and staff (FTE) are located in the EU27 or EFTA countries.
Development
The company confirms that the key stages of the software’s development were carried out in Europe.
