DIGITAL SME welcomes its newest staff member Lucas Lanziotti

DIGITAL SME is happy to welcome Lucas Lanziotti as its new Project Manager in the Brussels secretariat. 

Lucas is an Italian-Brazilian national. He holds an MA cum laude in Governance and Global Systems from the University of Cagliari (Italy). He combined efforts with the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Wroclaw (Poland) to elaborate a thesis about the Modern Economic Diplomacy. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, Italian and Spanish and he is currently working on his French.

After a successful career as a professional athlete, Lucas has been working in EU affairs in various positions in the management and implementation of European funded initiatives on business internationalisation in EU partner countries and emerging economies.

In DIGITAL SME, Lucas’ main responsibilities will focus on standardisation related projects. These include close cooperation with Small Business Standards – SBS, for the ICT sector.

Additionally, Lucas will strengthen the participation of DIGITAL SME in the Horizon 2020 project SABINA. The project is a collaborative R&D initiative that aims to develop new digital models to improve energy efficiency in buildings.

Building on his previous experiences and outreach, Lucas will also contribute to strengthening the partnerships with institutions and organisations active in the digital landscape.

DIGITAL SME warmly welcomes its new team member and is confident that his competences will play an important role in the progress of ICT small and medium-sized enterprises in the standardisation area.
