Lucas is an Italian-Brazilian national. He holds an MA cum laude in Governance and Global Systems from the University of Cagliari (Italy). He combined efforts with the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Wroclaw (Poland) to elaborate a thesis about the Modern Economic Diplomacy. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, Italian and Spanish and he is currently working on his French.

After a successful career as a professional athlete, Lucas has been working in EU affairs in various positions in the management and implementation of European funded initiatives on business internationalisation in EU partner countries and emerging economies
