EVENT: Belarus-EU Economic Forum – Luxembourg, 27 October 2017
On October 27 Luxembourg hosts the Belarus-EU Economic Forum. The Forum will be devoted to ICT, Logistics and Finance.
The Forum will gather a wide range of Belarusian and EU decision-makers, including Ministers, high-level officials from Belarusian ministries and the European Commission as well as numerous business-representatives not only from Belarus and Luxembourg, but also from Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and other countries. The Belarusian delegation will be led by Prime Minister of Belarus A.Kobyakov, the delegation of the European Commission – by Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations J.Hahn.
The main objective of the forum is to create an effective and result-oriented, multi-level platform for establishing a stable interaction between Belarusian credit and financial institutions and business entities with European partners and promoting strong, in many respects unique aspects of the Belarusian economy (IT, logistics) among Western business circles.
The main focus of the event will be:
– presentation of the concept of Digital Transport and Trade Corridors;
– presentation of the concept of coordinated development of transport and digital infrastructure within the implementation of the Chinese initiative “One Belt, One Road”;
– ICT sector of Belarus and digital transformation of the global market.
