Call for Action: Join Our Campaign to Make SEPs Work for SMEs
The debate surrounding a reform of Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) licensing has been gaining traction in Europe and beyond. This is a unique opportunity for all the companies in our network to contribute their ideas on what the new rules for SEPs should look like.
Standard Essential Patents can either work as an enabler or a major hurdle for technological innovation. As with most regulation, European ICT SMEs are especially vulnerable when asserting their own interests when it comes to the protection of Intellectual Property. However, this concerns all kinds of businesses, regardless of their size, sector and geographical location. Whether you are an SEP holder or implementer, your opinion counts!
For this reason, DIGITAL SME has partnered with the European Commission in disseminating a short, anonymous survey where you can share what you think this reform should entail. You can participate by taking part in the survey, by contacting us directly to schedule a meeting or informal conversation, or simply by helping us spread the word. Choose how you wish to be heard by clicking on one of the buttons below, or by supporting our social media campaigns here and here.
