DIGITAL SME Essay competition aims at promoting critical thinking and exploration of various ICT-related topics.

The competition provides the opportunity for students or recent graduates to submit their essay responses that explore various aspects of ICT, including standardisation, emerging technologies, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data analytics, and more.

WHAT FOR?

This competition offers a unique opportunity for individuals to showcase their research, insights, and innovative ideas in the field of ICT. With a focus on fostering intellectual discourse and promoting thought leadership, our competition aims to inspire the next generation of ICT professionals while contributing to advancements in the field.

By submitting essays on relevant ICT topics, participants contribute to the collective knowledge and discourse in the field. Their insights and perspectives can inform future research, policymaking, and technological innovations. Moreover, they will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, experts, and professionals in the ICT community.

DIGITAL SME OFFER

The winner will be awarded with a 6-month remunerated traineeship linked to the essay topic.

The competition will be organized in calls, scheduled to be released in the upcoming months.

The chosen theme for the inaugural call is “Cybersecurity for a Sovereign and Competitive Digital Europe” with the aim of fostering interest in subjects related to standards and careers in this field.
