The DIGITAL SME summit 2026 is the flagship event of Europe’s tech-SME innovators, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and academics to shape a sovereign, competitive, and resilient digital future for Europe. The event will take place on 16 November 2026 at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels.
This year’s summit arrives as Europe’s tech sovereignty ambitions face their most decisive test yet: the market. Building on the 2025 edition’s launch of the Tech Sovereignty Catalogue and the “Software Made in Europe” and “Software Hosted in Europe” labels, the focus now moves to driving adoption of these sovereign solutions. The programme puts forward proposals to boost demand through public procurement and investment, help SMEs scale globally while staying anchored in Europe, and build business opportunities between sovereign tech providers and their users.
