IRESDES4.0 – A spotlight on digital skills and remote work
The pubic workshop A spotlight on digital skills and remote work, that took place on 26 November, 9.30 – 12.30 in Bergamo, was organised in the framework of the project Industrial Relations and Social Dialogue for an Economy and a Society “4.0” (IRESDES4.0).
The goal of the event, organized as part of the international conference Work and its Value. Interdisciplinary Reflections on an Ever-Changing Concept, was to discuss the issues of new skills demand and organizational models and to bring together representatives from national and local institutions, workers’ and employers’ organizations, and scholars with an interest in the main aspects of the project, looking at them from an international and comparative perspective. The event was held by ADAPT’s School of Higher Education in Labour and Industrial Relations and the International Labour Organization.
The public workshop A spotlight on digital skills and remote work was scheduled together with the first experts meeting, taking place in the afternoon, organised in the context of the IRESDES4.0 project which was private and only opened to project consortium and members of the European Stakeholder Board. The goal of this First Expert Meeting was to share the preliminary findings gathered from the research activity and interviews with representatives of companies and workers and receive input and feedback from the selected experts.
