Digital Skills for SMEs to achieve sustainable local growth

At the EU Week of Regions and Cities, Skillnet Ireland will moderate a discussion on digital skills for SMEs.

SMEs are the backbone of local European growth. There is an urgent need to help them to seize the opportunities linked to the Digital transition.

This session will share impactful initiatives tailored to empower SMEs in their digital journey:
– the EU REBOOT SKILLS project which is focussed on offering advanced digital skills for SMEs through university short courses;
– the European DIGITAL SME Alliance which is the largest network of ICT SMEs in Europe;
Mentors work which is a digital pathway for SME leaders to business success in Ireland.

Skillnet Ireland is the business support agency of the government of Ireland. The Skillnet Ireland partnership model is recognised as a best practice by the OECD, empowering SMEs to grow through workforce development with a strong focus on digital skills and digital transformation.
