Christian joined DIGITAL SME as Business Development Officer to strengthen the European tech ecosystem by connecting digital SMEs with strategic partners, policymakers, and innovation networks around Europe. He holds a degree in Economics from the universities of Freiburg, Munich, and Padova, with a focus on International and Environmental Economics.

Before completing his Bachelor’s degree, Christian worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Freiburg, where he gained valuable insights into sustainable public finance and social policy. During his Master’s studies at the University of Munich, he founded a green e-commerce start-up, which he successfully ran for four years before a strategic exit.

Now based in Belgium, Christian is committed to supporting digital SMEs in advancing their ambitions at the European level. He is passionate about digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and European collaboration. In addition to his native German, he speaks English and Dutch.
