Antonio Grasso joins DIGITAL SME

Antonio joins DIGITAL SME in 2022 to lead its policy work and advance its priorities in line with the mission to put digital SMEs at the centre of the European agenda. He is motivated to support small scale innovators such as digital SMEs to make digital transformation a sustainable process, thus contributing to achieve a greener, more inclusive society in Europe and beyond.
With over six years of experience in EU policy, Antonio previously worked for an organisation active in the healthcare sector, being responsible for its economic and health policy dossiers, and contributing to the representation of the organisation in several multi-stakeholder fora at EU level. Prior to moving to Brussels, he also worked and studied in Ireland, Switzerland and Denmark.
Antonio holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Copenhagen. Besides his mother tongue Italian, he speaks fluent English, intermediate French and some German.
