At the next monthly meeting on 18 May, 16:00 CEST, DIGITAL SME’s Focus Group Artificial Intelligence (FG AI) will be joined by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) to discuss the impact of AI on infringement and the enforcement of copyright and designs. Furthermore, there will be a discussion on the updates on the AI Act and their implications.

The co-authors of the EUIPO report on the Impact of AI on infringement and the enforcement of copyright and designs – Mr Verstergaard and Mr Zacharia. They will present the report’s findings.

We will also discuss updates on the AI Act and their implications. The AI Act is now being debated in the European Parliament — some changes have been made, which may not always be suitable for SMEs, and we’d like to discuss those with you.
