ValueFacturing SMEs Final Conference

As the closing event of the ValueFacturing SMEs project, the Final Conference will serve as a pivotal moment to present the project’s key outcomes and foster meaningful dialogue among stakeholders. The event will bring together Members of the European Parliament, European Commission officials, representatives from employer and sectoral organisations, chambers of commerce, trade unions, business leaders, and researchers from across Europe to engage in in-depth discussions on the project’s core topics.

A major highlight of the conference will be the official presentation of one of the project’s most important achievements: the Decalogue.

This multilingual Decalogue is a practical, action-oriented guide developed to support and strengthen social dialogue at company, sectoral, and European levels. It outlines a clear set of concrete procedures and guidelines aimed at improving collaboration and negotiation among social partners.

Project Background

The ValueFacturing SMEs project, officially launched with a kick-off meeting in late 2023, is a two-year research initiative dedicated to promoting the significant contribution of sectoral social dialogue practices at both national and European levels. The key goal aligns with the European Commission’s 2020 vision to establish Europe and its Member States as “the most attractive place to start a small business, make it grow and scale up in the single market.” This ambition also encompasses fully leveraging the potential of SMEs to effectively address the prevailing digital and environmental challenges.

The project consortium comprises various stakeholders, including Confimi Industria and its affiliated entity, Confimi Industria Digitale; FIM Lombardia; Fondazione ADAPT and its affiliated entity, ADAPT Associazione; the European DIGITAL SME Alliance; the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana. The project also benefits from the active involvement of the following supporting partners: VASAS – the Hungarian Metalworkers’ Federation, FSPISH – the Trade Union Federation of Industrial Workers of Albania, IndustriALL Europe, Confimi Puglia, Consiglio Regione Puglia and FIM-CISL.
