Sofia Gottarelli joins DIGITAL SME

Sofia joined DIGITAL SME as Events and Communication trainee. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Diplomatic and International Sciences from the University of Bologna, after which she completed a Master in International Science at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. After her Master, Sofia stayed in Rome to work at the Québec Delegation in Italy, supporting the Public and Institutional Affairs Office. Her passion for institutional and multicultural led her in starting a new professional journey in Brussels, where she concluded a traineeship in Events & Protocol at the European Economic and Social Committee, before joining the European DIGITAL SME Alliance.
Sofia also enjoys participating in advocacy work and volunteering, which led her to become an Ambassador for the ONE Campaign in Belgium, a global movement campaigning to end extreme poverty and preventable disease in African countries.
