Second PISTIS Living Lab: Exploring Data Monetisation and Data Ethics
SMEs frequently encounter greater challenges than other stakeholders in accessing essential data for business growth and innovation.
In the realm of data monetisation and ethics, SMEs encounter unique obstacles such as limited access to high-quality data, insufficient technical expertise for effective data analysis and use, and inadequate financial resources for investing in advanced data management tools. Additionally, SMEs often struggle with navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks, understanding legal restrictions on data sharing, and ensuring data interoperability.
To address these challenges, PISTIS Living Labs provided a platform where project partners and external stakeholders converge to share insights, discuss challenges, and explore innovative solutions.
Following the successful inaugural PISTIS Living Lab, this event focused on two pivotal themes: data monetisation and data ethics. These areas are critical for unlocking the value of data while ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards. The event also offered a comprehensive overview of the PISTIS project and platform demonstrator, followed by an interactive session featuring experts in data monetisation and trusted data sharing.
This event presented an exceptional opportunity to explore the innovative solutions developed by PISTIS for seamless connection to data spaces. Whether focusing on data monetisation or ethics, the second PISTIS Living Lab provided unparalleled opportunities for understanding the future of data interaction.
