Federico Pierucci joins DIGITAL SME

Federico joined DIGITAL SME team as a project manager, leading DIGITAL SME’s activities in projects on cybersecurity and data.
On top of that, he is the coordinator of DIGITAL SME’s Working Group “Cybersecurity and Data Protection” and of the Task Force “Data”.
He studied Philosophy both in Rome and in Bologna, and he collaborated with the Italian National Research Center (CNR). He also graduated from the Luiss Business School’s Executive program on European Funds management and control.
Before joining DIGITAL SME, he worked as a project manager and ethics researcher for Eu Horizon 2020 projects in Rome, focusing on the socio-political impacts of new technologies, and he was in charge of finding strategies and theories to better model the socio-political effects of technological innovation. He enjoys learning about new technologies and approaching technological innovation from a multi-faceted and multidisciplinary perspective, and he’s eager to bring his knowledge, skills and experiences as an added value to the DIGITAL SME network.
